ABSTRACT
The article reports that Solutia Inc. is planning to increase its annual production capacity of nylon 6/6 resins and compounds by 70 million pounds at its Pensacola, Florida, plant. The company is doing so to meet significant worldwide demand, especially in China. Reconfiguration of assets is going at the Pensacola plant to support the increase.
