ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs from the marketing industry. Product Ventures packaging design agency has teamed with Duracell to create the new Duracell EasyTab, an easy-to-open, resealable package with individual battery tabs. The product was the result of marketers wearing thick glasses and heavy gloves to recreate the difficulties faced by their elderly customers. An advertisement run by Wal-Mart in the "Arizona Daily Sun" to support the opening of a new store over the objections of local government showed pictures of Nazis burning books.
