ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the creation of low-cost, low-power mobile phones for the emerging markets. Hans Stork, senior vice president and chief technical officer of Texas Instruments, has remarked that in order for mobile companies to penetrate these markets, they must conduct an extensive research and development to produce single-chip phones that require low power.
