ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the advantages of investing in foreign currencies except the U.S. dollar. The U.S. balance-of-payments deficit of $809 billion in 2006 is one of the factors that contributed to the weak performance of the U.S. dollar. The Swiss franc has increased 5 percent against the dollar since April 2006. It details the benefits of investing in currency notes trading like a preferred stock on the American exchange.
