ABSTRACT
The article reports on a one-year deal signed between Beacon Television and Touchstone Television and American Broadcasting Co. (ABC) units. The deal involves the development of projects for both broadcast and cable networks. On the other hand, Beacon's deal with ABC has guaranteed a production of at least one television pilot during the 2006-2007 season. Meanwhile, former senior vice president of United Paramount Network, Laurie Zaks, has been appointed as Beacon's head of television division.
