ABSTRACT
The article reports on manufacturing and retail furniture executives who have reached the top tier of the industry's compensation list in 2005. Some of the executives took huge gains from the exercise of stock options. Ethan Allen Chairman Farooq Kathwari topped the list, followed by Richard Rampala, retired chairman and chief executive officer of coatings producer Valspar.
