ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of Bell Globemedia Inc. in Canada for the second quarter of 2006. The firm's revenue was up by 8 percent to $381 million, but its operating profit declined by 17.9 percent to $69 million. Based on analysis, the decrease was due to higher programming costs. The increase in cash flow is due to strong revenue growth, expansion of customer base, and the lower cost of subscriber acquisition.
