ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Indiana Public Employees' Retirement Fund has invested in the Lindsay, Goldberg, & Bessemer's Fund II (LGB). This was disclosed by Shawn Wischmeier, CIO of the plan. LGB is a private equity firm that focuses on closely held or family owned businesses. It specializes in situations where the owners of the business have a strong interest in that businesses survival.
