ABSTRACT
The article reports on the search for San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund's investment manager. Various firms were considered in an interview but the fund's investment committee recommended the hiring of Mesirow, HBK, Davidson Kempner, Robeco-Sage, Ironwood, Declaration, and Invesco. But the board's decision and the possible size of any mandates awarded were still unclear.
