Arizona R.S. Hires for Long/Short Equity

The article reports that Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) has hired Jacobs Levy Equity Management to oversee a long/short equity account. ASRS expects to hire a prime broker, at which point the account will be transitioned from a passive portfolio to Jacobs Levy. Meanwhile, ASRS is also working with New England Pension Consultants on an asset allocation study.
