ABSTRACT
The article offers advice on adopting customer relationship management (CRM) strategies. Incompatibilities between people, processes and technologies contribute to failed CRM implementations. Training is an essential means through which end users buy into the system. One benefit of pilot programs with respect to introducing a CRM system is the insight that a business gains from testing it on a small subset of users.
