ABSTRACT
The article reports on the arrival of the Securities Industry Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). The association has released a statement stating that respective member firms voted merger and the group espouses the virtues of increased transparency. In addition, SIFMA and the Bond Market Association have announced their intention to merge in 2006.
