ABSTRACT
This article presents information on gadgets. An unmanned aircraft, the Polecat developed at Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works research facility in Palmdale, California, is a 28-metre flying wing weighing 4 tonnes. NASresearchers are testing a prototype of the rig in the Canadian Arctic, called Drilling Automation for Mars Exploration.
