Broadcom's Draft-802.11n Lands in Dell Notebooks

The article focuses on the use of the Intensi-fi chipsets of draft-802.11nano silicon solutions of Broadcom Corp. in Dell notebooks. The introduction of the Dell Wireless 1500 draft-802.11nano dual-band wireless card is one of the factors that contributed to the increased demand for Broadcom's Intensi-fi chipsets. The technology will help Dell to deliver high-definition multimedia access and online gaming. The deal made an impact on Wireless-Fidelity vendors in the notebook market.
