ABSTRACT
The article deals with the release of the first set of U.S. standards that evaluate commitment to community excellence in women's health care developed by the Spirit of Women Network. The objective is to demonstrate the proactive function of the hospital as the voice for women's services locally, regionally and nationally in the areas of regulatory influence, public service, consumer awareness and clinical evaluations.
