ABSTRACT
The article deals with the efforts of several U.S. health institutions to assist children on medical appointments. The Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals, Allendale County Hospital,McLeod Medical Center,Self Regional Healthcare and other public institutions have trained staff act as health care advocates for children, scheduling their health appointments and transporting them to their appointments.
