ABSTRACT
The article presents the revenue increase and operating profit downfall of Amazon.com in North American media business. Because of sales promotion its electronic commerce media sales rose in 2005. However, due to company's technology and content investment, Amazon Prime, and Amazon Fishbowl it suffered a profit loss. The Amazon projected quarterly net sales for the year 2006, which is compared with 2005 full year net sales.
