Dolby dips into digital 3-D

The article informs that Dolby Laboratories Inc. has joined hands with German company Infitec, to develop a 3-D system for theaters. The move brings Dolby in direct competition with RealID and In-Three, the companies who provide 3-D technology that takes advantage of digital cinema. According to Dolby digital cinema senior vice president Tim Partridge, by moving into 3-D, Dolby will start selling attachments for projectors as well.
