The article reports that the state of Indiana has earned more than $10 million in interest on funds it invested from the proceeds of the lease of the Indiana Toll Road, since July 5, 2006. The Indiana Finance Authority has transferred $3.6 billion of investments to the state treasurer on July 5, who in turn placed the funds into interest-earning accounts.
