ABSTRACT
The article reports on the merger agreement between Tenaris S.A. and Maverick Tube Corp., leading pipe and tube manufacturers in North America. The terms of the deal are discussed. Maverick chairman and chief executive officer Robert Bunch comments on the advantages of the combined entity. Products manufactured by Maverick include welded oil country tubular goods, line pipe and coiled tubing for use in oil and natural gas wells.
