ABSTRACT
The description of Jatropha andrieuxii Muell. Arg. is ampliated; habitat data as well as an illustration are included. Its transfer from section Curcas (Adans.) Griseb. to section Platyphyllae Dehgan et Webster is proposed on account of its gamopetalous corolla and biseriate stamens.
