The article reports on the developments in the Twente Canal in the Netherlands. The Dutch government has approved a far-reaching expansion projects on the canal to bolster the region's economic activities and boost water drainage capacity. Several dredging and port construction projects participated in by leading companies have already started to materialize the government's ambitious plan.
