The article reports on the pledge by the Edward Hospital & Health Services (EHHS) to return by September 2006 to the Illinois regulatory board whose approval is needed for new hospital construction projects after its rejection of EHHS' proposal for a new hospital. Incidentally, EHHS administrators filed a lawsuit against three individuals who allegedly attempted to pressure the hospital into pressuring the investment bank to underwrite bonds in exchange for the board's endorsement.
