ABSTRACT
The article reports that the manufacturing activity in the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's region has expanded in July 2006 as the general business conditions index decreased to 6.0 for the month, based from information in the Report on Business. Economists surveyed in the International Financing Review markets have predicted a reading of 13.1 for the index. The prices paid index was 50.3 in July in comparison to 48.7 in the previous month. General conditions index upped to 15.4.
