ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement of GEO Group Inc., which states that it had received a contract from the state's Department of Children and Families to manage and operate an existing 545-bed facility in Arcadia, and to begin construction of a new $60 million, 660-bed replacement facility to be financed with tax-exempt bonds. According to the report, the total bond issue will be about $62 million, including about $1.2 million for costs of issuance.
