ABSTRACT
The article reports that the North Carolina-based furniture retailer Wood Armfield has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to be able to reduce its order backlog and reduce its debt to vendors. It has also asked the court to approve its plan to hire Gordon Bros. Group to sell its products to be able to generate funds for unsecured suppliers.
