ABSTRACT
The article reports that ICIS forecasting, a new innovative monthly report that forecasts prices of the major petrochemical products, has just been launched. The monthly report aims to rectify concerns among chemical industry professionals, highlighted in an ICIS survey, that forecasting reports by competitors can lack transparency in methodology, and that quarterly forecasting does not support short-term decision-making.
