ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to the chemical industry. German polyester producer Trevira, a subsidiary of India's Reliance, is moving its corporate headquarters from Hattersheim, near Frankfurt, to its production site at Bobingen, Germany. Fragrance and flavours producer Symrise has agreed to market and provide technical support in the U.S. for Lanxess' dimethyl dicarbonate stabiliser Velcorin. Three bidders are left in the tender to acquire a debt claim that should lead to control of dominant Czech biodiesel component producer Setuza.
