ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Hal Stratton, who has joined Dykema Gossett PLLC. Stratton was former chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. He helped in the creation of a self-reporting program on defective merchandise that started with Wal-Mart, the nation's largest retailer, during his four-year tenure. He also established an international affairs division at the commission to work with foreign consumer protection agencies on export and import products.
