JSW highlights ultrahigh-speed molding

The article focuses on Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based JSW Plastics Machinery Inc.'s demonstration of an ultrahigh-speed injection molding press J11OAD-180H at NPE 2006. A super-thin polycarbonate part on a super-fast injection speed of 800 millimeters per second was molded by the firm. In-mold labeling and an injection/compression were also demonstrated by the company. Brian Sams, JSW business development manager, said that an ultrahigh-speed injection unit is being used with dual servomotors on injection.
