ABSTRACT
The article discusses home reversions as a viable alternative to lifetime mortgages. The levels of business transacted as a share of the equity release market have seen no great movement. Thus brokers are left with the challenge of helping clients understand the workings of home reversion. Retirement Plans has launched its reversion product into the core market, which is different from a traditional home reversion where the discount is applied on day one.
