ABSTRACT
The article presents statistics concerning financial planning. 75 percent of financial writer Suze Orman's portfolio is investments in zero-coupon municipal bonds. 43.4 percent of workers take who took lump-sum distribution from their retirement plans rolled the entire sum into another tax-qualified account in 2003, compared with less than 20 percent in 1993. Five million U.S. senior citizens are financially abused each year through investment scams. A rare bottle of Johnnie Walker whisky, worth $24,150, costs $862 per shot.
