ABSTRACT
The article presents the experiences of certain Chief Executive Officers (CEO) in the Credit Unions regarding the first few months of their new job assignments in the United States. It reflects that the first hundred days are crucial for new and transitioning executive officers to prove their work efficiency and leadership. Credit Union Executives Society member, Tom Graves went onto head $142 million/37,000-member Government of Guam Employees Federal Credit Union when he was offered his first CEO post. Another CEO, Kathleen Romane has headed up two credit unions in her thirty years of career. INSETS: NETWORKING AND THE NEW;MANAGING THE BOARD.
