The article reports on the preparation of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) for the 2006 World Education Conference (WEC) in Dallas, Texas. MPI is looking for a new CEO after Colin Rorrie assumed his position as MPI Chairman. The MPI will divide members into the following specific groups corporate meeting professional, association/nonprofit professional, supplier meeting professional and meeting management professional. MPI will be launching the Culture Active Tool, a Web-based cross-cultural analysis and briefing tool, at the WEC.
