The article relates the ordeal of Koleen Roach, director of recognition and conference planning of Saint Paul, Minnesota-based Securian Financial Group, when she subcontracted West Coast Transportation and Events to provide all ground transportation for the bi-annual National Sales Convention in 2006. A trip to Palm Springs Aerial Tramway was arranged by West Coast for conference attendees. Unfortunately, Roach was not informed that financial advisor Barndon Day and his guest Gina Allen failed to return with the rest of the tour group. A full search and rescue operation to find Day and Allen was successful.
