VH2 music channel faces axe from MTV

The article reports that MTV Networks UK & Ireland is considering a move to close the music channel VH2. The company is reportedly planning to launch another channel. The company did not reveal whether it was shutting down the channel in Europe or around the world. The channel features guitar music from the 1990s to the presents times. Several music bands including the White Stripes, the Strokes, and Muse are featured on the channel, which is considered as the brother music channel to VH1. VH2 was launched in 2003.
