The article reports that Victor Loewy and Patrice Theroux have been ousted as chairman and chief executive officer, respectively, of Motion Picture Distribution. The leading Canadian independent distributor was spun off from Alliance Atlantis three years ago. It also owns Momentum Pictures in Great Britain and Aurum in Spain. Loewy, Theroux and another dismissed official, Paul Laberge, intend to move and immediately launch their own competing distribution outfit.
