ABSTRACT
The article reports on the deal entered between the Collier County District School Board and Florida Housing Finance Corp. amounting to $400 million. The proceeds of the school board's offering will be used to construct four new elementary schools, a charter middle school, and four other schools. The deal will be composed of serial certificates of participation that will mature from 2007 through 2026 and will be insured by Financial Security Assurance Inc.
