ABSTRACT
The article reports the problem faced by the launching of the initial public offering of Air Deccan. The company delayed its May 2006 offering of 24.6 million shares because the Bombay Stock Exchange has declined dramatically after a steep ascent. Air Deccan initially priced its shares at $3.20, but as of July 2006, the price reached $1.80.
