ABSTRACT
The article highlights the possibility that nuclear power will solve the energy crisis experienced worldwide. The author encourages the U.S. government to contemplate the idea of becoming the world's supplier of electricity generated by nuclear reactors. The refusal to use nuclear power is not because of the lack of technology or the capital resources, but because public opinion has been stampeded into the antinuclear camp by scare tactics.
