ABSTRACT
The article focuses on DSI Laser Service, a German company that had opened its first location in the United States. The primary focus of the company is tool and die and mold welding applications using a Nd:YAG laser workstation and 16X microscope. The company has adapted the workstation to make it portable so that it can be taken to the customer for onsite welding.
