ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement by the Washington State Health Care Facilities Authority and the National Healthcare, Research, and Education Finance Corp. that an Internal Revenue Service audit of the $38 million of Series 2000 bonds concluded with no change in the tax-exempt status of bonds' interest. The variable-rate lease revenue bonds were issue by the authority to finance a six-story office building owned by National Healthcare in Seattle, Washington.
