ABSTRACT
The article presents the conclusions and recommendations of Justice Parker in his report of the Windscale Inquiry. The report contains questions and answers regarding oxide fuel, reactors from United Kingdom and reprocessing of nuclear fuel. Justice Parker concludes that a new plant for spent oxide fuel reprocessing from the reactors of United Kingdom is necessary and desirable. This conclusion is based on the stocks of spent fuel from advanced gas-cooled reactors and its importance to the nuclear industry.
