The article reports that due to promotional activity by suppliers and the sale of multi-packs, the premium brands in moist smokeless tobacco have rebounded in 2006. Lil Cricket Food Stores' Terry Lehman said that the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco has bounced back with some promos and the premium business was doing well. Butch Fulton of Plaid Pantries Inc. said that they saw growth in pouches as an alternative to smoking. The article also offers two graphs that depict data related to the moist smokeless tobacco.
