ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth of the personal service industry in Canada, according to the 2004 Annual Survey of firms providing personal services. Personal care providers, including hair and esthetic salons and spas, which earned $3.9 billion is the top category. Dry cleaning and laundry services earned a $ 1.9 billion revenue.
