The article focuses on the topics discussed in the June 2006 issue of the "Journal of Correctional Education." Women's Issues in Correctional Education has been presented and it also features the correctional institution programming and services which have long been controlled by male but balance is occurring. Meanwhile, the topic for the July 2007 issue of the journal has already been selected and it will be international perspectives in correctional education. In this issue, a special opportunity is given for professional development for CEA members and the distribution of the Highly Qualified Correctional Educator certificate will be this coming fall.
