ABSTRACT
The article reports on the local critics of the opening of the motion picture "Marie-Antoinette" in its screening in Cannes, France. The veterans recall any previous movie that was greeted with such a vocal outpouring of disrespect. While, some country's press offended by the director of the film Sofia Copolla's approach to the country's infamous queen, she brought to the French history.
