This article presents information on the performance of stocks in the high technology industries. A few tech stocks in Great Britain showed some gains last week for various reasons. As is the way of share price moves it was in fact Filtronic's decision to sell its wireless infrastructure business to the U.S. firm Powerwave Technologies Inc. which gave investors new confidence. CML Microsystems saw its shares rise on the back of upbeat full year results with pre-tax profits up by over 50 percent and sales 12 percent ahead.
