ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of what was it like to be one of the earliest nuclear physicist to be recruited in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He recalled when Robert Oppenheimer visited him on Princeton University and asked him to join his laboratory where they will be working on how to assemble a nuclear bomb out of a fissionable material. He shared what was it like to be shuttling between Princeton, Cambridge, Los Alamos and Berkeley for several months just to finish the project.
