ABSTRACT
The article provides various reports related to developments in the textile retailer industry in the U.S. WestPoint Home, a home furnishing company, has signed a licensing agreement with Tactix Towels to produce a luxury towel line for department stores. Taiwan-based Bochang Towel Mfg. Co. has purchased the Micro Wic patent from Chesapeake Textiles Co. and lastly, Dan River, a leading manufacturer and marketer of textile, is in talks to sell its last production facility in the country.
